These terms cover the use of this website. They do not govern a construction project; that is the executed construction agreement, and it takes precedence over everything here.

The site is information, not an offer

Plans, sizes, specifications, timelines and price ranges shown here are planning information. They are not a bid, an appraisal, a warranty or an offer to contract. A price binds us only when it is written into a signed construction agreement for your parcel.

Accuracy

Zoning, ADU statute and local ordinance change regularly, and pages can fall behind. Confirm current requirements for your parcel with your city or with us before relying on anything here. Areas and dimensions are nominal; the engineered drawing set governs.

Intellectual property

Plans, drawings, photography, text and marks on this site belong to Shape Homes, Inc. or its licensors. You may view and print pages for your own use in evaluating a project. You may not republish, resell or build from them without written permission.

Your submissions

If you send drawings or project information, you confirm you have the right to share them, and you allow us to use them for the purpose of evaluating and delivering your project. You keep ownership.

Third-party links

We link to city ordinances, state agencies and scheduling tools we do not control, and we are not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent California law allows, Shape Homes is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing here limits any right you have under a construction agreement or under California contractor licensing law.

Governing law

California law governs these terms, and the courts of Santa Clara County have jurisdiction.
